Video Artwork / Anything & Everything / 2020

How do young people negotiate identity when more and more of our interactions are mediated? How do you find space to understand yourself when it seems everything is happening at the same time?

From their bedrooms, on the internet, nine individuals aged between 9 and 25 talk about anything and everything – from intimacy and goldfish, to crappy teen TV shows where protagonists end up ‘finding themselves’. Repurposing video conferencing software to create a smashed-up digital dive into the world they inhabit; Anything & Everything is a space in which awkward dance sequences, tacky filters and video grabs collide with brazen discussion.

Featuring Curtis Fitzgerald, Ebony Macpherson, Eza Bakker-Graham, Harriet McNicol, Lulu Fitz, Poppy Goodman, Saskia Anderson, Sophia D’Urso and Zara Nawaz.
